Run, Audrey, Run!

She was stray in North Carolina, probably hungry and cold, lonely and confused.

Look at her now!  She may be running wild – but in a safely fenced yard at The Basset Plantation.  Feel the joy!  Feel the wind in her ears!

You will never have an unwanted litter, bringing more unwanted puppies into this world.  You will never go to bed hungry.  You will not be cold.  DoG knows, with 5 Basset siblings, you will never be alone!

You are loved, little Audrey, and have found your forever home!

This is why we rescue.  May you run happily and eat heartily and love unconditionally for the rest of your days, little girl!
